Remembrance Sunday

This Sunday, we pause to remember the sacrifices made by those who served in our armed forces, past and present. Across Derbyshire and the nation, communities will come together in reflection and gratitude.

As part of this year’s commemorations, we are very proud that our very own PC Buxton from the Alvaston Safer Neighbourhood Team will be laying a wreath at the Derby City Centre Remembrance Service, representing Derbyshire Constabulary and the local community.

We are proud to stand alongside our residents in honouring those who gave so much. Whether you’re attending a service, observing a moment of silence, or simply reflecting in your own way — thank you for joining us in remembrance.
